LAMENT: A GRIEF INCENSE

$33.00

Grief is a universally shared experience across time, cultures, and hearts. LAMENT, our handcrafted grief incense, blends seven specific elements from around the world, each chosen for its healing properties to help you through all forms of loss.

Black Storax cleanses and protects, Frankincense invites deep reflection, and Black Hollyhock brings ancestral blessings. The delicate fragrance of Lily offers hope, while sticky rice symbolizes the enduring bonds we hold dear. Sandalwood provides comfort, and Himalayan Cedar embodies resilience and peace.

Together, these global ingredients forms a poetically soothing fragrance that transcends borders, uniting us all in our mourning.

This limited edition incense is collaboration with Jennifer of Magixstyx -handcrafted in Los Angeles using 100% all-natural Ingredients.

If plants release scent to communicate with their surroundings, then scent must be spatial—rooted to place, yet reaching. Lament recalls the clay crust of ancient amphorae, wounded bark, turpentine tears tracing a path down the trunk. Pollen stain of storax, the touched sides of abraxus stones preserved under ash. Simmering milk and grains enveloping around mordanted flowers. A river-bound gift, conditions of salt it used to know floating. Perennial bloom and decay that teaches how to absorb unto itself and return. From the underworld of dreams, traversing vapors rivulet towards rebirth. The smoke clears, but you aren’t the same again. - Beth H.

Ingredients: Black Storax, Frankincense, Black Hollyhock, Sticky Rice, Lily, Sandalwood, Himalayan Cedar.
